The movers are coming tomorrow and I am furiously packing up the last of my belongings. I can't believe how fast this whole process has gone; although, I imagine any amount of time would have been too little.
The other night I was having dinner at the Coastal Kitchen, reading the latest Smithsonian Magazine. There's an article called "Northwest Passage" and it's about one man's feelings for Seattle since moving from Long Island. While his experience was different than mine, there were elements of his story that touched me and really rang true. Over the past 17 years, Seattle has become my home, and I am going to miss it here more than I can even express.
